All Early Years providers should have a SEND report available on the 'Find a childcare provider' pages of the Family Information Service.

Early years Local Offer for providers

Practitioners

Information for early years practitioners, childminders and health visitors.

Apply for Inclusion Funding for children with high needs

Inclusion Funding may be available to early years settings when children with very complex needs would benefit from enhanced provision.

Extra help for pre-school children

Settings of pre-school children with SEND can use the Early Years Panel Referral Form to request support to meet the needs of a child with additional needs. Also have a look at some of the funding available.

SENCOs

Every childcare setting has a SENCO who will work with staff, children, and parents to develop appropriate strategies to support a child's learning.
